Except for those elements of the Libertarian government (LG) which which would be exclusively devoted to raping the country and its citizens. Dilip, you never explain how you will get rid of the negative aspects of human nature (think Donald Trump) to give an LG a shot at success. For example, how will you deal with the entrenched interests from the previous form of government? Like so many other revolutions, will you murder them? Put them in re-education camps?

You have correctly stated that there are a whole lot of negative aspects in any political action. Hence an LG has no right to enact any laws or pass any presidential decree... all it can do is enforce the Natural Law. The rest of the society's progress is in the hands of the citizens who function in a very organized 'circles within circles' system...

Remember when climate change was an existential crisis? Then the Liberals reversed themselves on the carbon tax that they themselves introduced to save us all, and Far Leftists started destroying e-cars, which on the face of it does not appear to be environmentally friendly behaviour. Maybe none of their ideology had anything at all to do with the environment ...

The Liberal government, through the Prime Minister, just reaffirmed their policy commitment to the Carbon Tax, and net zero.

            Hi Bob,

            Interesting.

On his website: Mark Carney presents plan for change on consumer carbon tax

"Halifax, Nova Scotia – Today [Note: it does not appear to have a date], Mark Carney presented a climate policy that will bring Canadians together, lower costs for people, grow our economy, and create jobs today and in the future.

“The Consumer Carbon Tax isn’t working—it’s become too divisive. That’s why I’ll cancel it and replace it with incentives to reward people for greener choices”, Mark said.

A Mark Carney-led government will immediately remove the consumer carbon tax and instead, create a system of incentives to reward Canadians for making greener choices, such as purchasing an energy efficient appliance, electric vehicle, or improved home insulation. ..."

The Liberals are not that smart, Bob. The Carbon tax was the only sensible measure which they took in their entire recent tenure, but for the sake of 'votes' (which you love so much yourself!), gave it up... That is the problem with Democracy, Bob, so calling your Marxism 'democratic Marxism' does not make it any better....
