Re: Section C : Tentative Pairings

Can you check John Goldner in section C? He tells me he has 3 points - not 2.5. (I think one of his byes should be a 1-point bye).

Michael O'connor and David Zhou drew in round 4. They think they forgot to report the result. Please correct it if you can - otherwise, I guess they will have to accept a double-zero for not reporting the draw.

I just gave a call to my friend - he is excited to play this evening.

                Re: Pairings Canadian Open

I have taken the liberty of merging all the pairing threads from the 2014 Canadian Open. This is mostly as an exercise for me, but it also serves the purpose of assisting anyone who wants to search these threads at some future date.

The home page for the 2014 Canadian Open is here, so all the pairings should be accessible through this site.

It looks like the FQE has done a great job. Well done!

As the tourney has ended right now, is there any chess player who has achieved an international norm for the titles?

I think Jason Cao from Victoria, BC has done so. Whoops. I see it was already noted in another thread.
