You 'answered his questions' with a crass, insulting speculation not based on any evidence or logic, but on your own personal biases. And in that respect, you are no better than the people you lambaste here as being trolls; in fact, much worse because after labeling them, you act worse than them.

The questions Sasha is asking deserve thorough and complete answers backed by evidence. The politics of Canadian chess can't afford further corruption.

I do believe that at this point, we need Hal Bond to give a complete accounting for his part in this whole affair. Until I see such an accounting, Hal in my eyes and likely the eyes of others with a sense of morals has gone from hero to zero, for his treatment of Sid plus his apparent willingness to be part of what has all the appearances of a bribe. We'll never know exactly what it was until SOMEONE shows the CFC membership a written contract between the CFC Executive and the Kirsan campaign showing exactly what was agreed on. Vlad Drkulec, if you really want transparency, you will produce that contract.

That's assuming such a contract exists. If it was a verbal contract.... so much the worse for the image and the future of the CFC.

      Re: Kirsan wins again

Paul, I'm afraid you are one of a very few people here appreciating the seriousness of this issue: CFC's endorsement of KI in spite of clear majority of CFC members' support for GK.

There are also difficult to ignore issues such as a current political situation in the World with the West (Canada included) imposed sanctions against closest Putin's associates and friends.

It is non stop lying Russian propaganda regarding shooting of the Malaysian Airline's Boeing 777, for example, the main Russian TV Channel was telling the story that all the corpses were put in the plane in Amsterdam...

Canadian Ukrainian Congress is aware of FIDE's refusal to deal with a Ukrainian Chess Federation's complain (an Open Letter). They've sent the Open Letter to the CFC, which is ignored.

I'm aware of Ukrainian Chess Federation is in contact with the Ukrainian Ambassador in Ottawa. Lets not to forget that there are over 1,3M Ukrainians leave in Canada.

Mr. Tkachev, the Governor of Krasnodar region, where in city of Sochi supposedly will be the World Championship match in November, has joined a list of sanctions.

      Mr. Ilyumzhinov will be next.

Our executives hope that the FIDE election will be over in the next two weeks or so and all this nightmare will disappear.

      The nightmare hasn't even started!

I just spent thirteen days at the Canadian Open and the Canadian Youth Chess Championship where we had 416 players and 316 players and their parents respectively representing a cross section of Canadian chess. I had two people who told me that they supported Garry Kasparov. One admitted that given the behaviour of Garry Kasparov and his people that he understood why it was impossible for the CFC to support him. Many more people told me that they supported me and the CFC executive and governors' decisions. There is no evidence that a majority of CFC members would support GK and simply endlessly repeating this lie does not make it true. Endlessly repeating on the Garry Kasparov website that Garry is leading the election does not make it true either. In two weeks or so we will know which group has a stronger grip on reality when we see the results of the election.

          Playing chess. Yes, that stuff.
It would be nice if a few more of the Kasparov supporters were to try playing chess for a change. It might at least temporarily cure them of their need to tilt at windmills.

Exactly WHOM have I "lambasted" (your word) as being a troll other than Mr. Starr in one particular post? And I stand by that assessment of him regarding his behaviour at that time and I stand by it now.

You like to argue by putting words in others mouths and then trying to blow up that newly-cemented "foundation".

If you have nothing to say then just try to be quiet.

That information is confidential. I understand that you have trouble with that concept.

Please refer me to the Handbook regarding the confidential information.
CFC is Non For Profit organization. How the vital information can be kept in secret? How the Members can benefit from this?

Handbook? You are referring to the document that we need to rewrite and is no longer the bylaw by which we are governed. I suppose we could share information on the governors forum but you have shown that you do not respect confidentiality and so we can't use it as method to share information anymore. Nice one Sasha.

Are you assuming the responsibility to run a national Non For Profit organization without a Handbook?
                        And what about other Executives?
Are you all exposing yourself for this lousy endorsement? Does not make any sense! Then WHAT IS IT? I'll get to the bottom of this!

Kirsan the landslide FIDE election winner

Sorry Sasha but I only have a limited amount of time and energy and it won't be spend dealing with a waste of time such as yourself, Sid, Paul or Garry. You can cry and throw all the tantrums you want but you won't get that shiny new toy in the window. You can't have it. End of discussion.

So you say, but as you see, this affair is slowly unfolding, and you'll have soon a lot of fun! Actually we'll all have! Cheers!
