    Well said Paul.

The solution is not to choose between Capitalism or Socialism, but to develop a hybrid system, taking the best of each and discarding the extremes. IMHO:

    Capitalism
    Pro business - yes, good.
let the market decide - yes, but not always.
trickle down wealth effect - fantasy, the opposite is true (the rich get richer, the poor get poorer)

    Socialism
    social safety net - necessary
    government knows best - No
redistribute wealth - yes, with limits
legislate checks and bounds - yes

So, on balance, I guess I lean left. :)

Gary, I've voted conservative most of my adult life but I'd seriously consider changing my vote if you can get Justin to make a positive promise regarding chess..

Well, the only promise I can make is that he, and all others, will be made aware of the importance of Chess and of the importance of supporting chess at all levels at all time.

So, my original question remains, does anyone know anyone who lives within the boundaries of the riding, who is in a position to support me?

But there's no way I would support anything Trudeau related. That guy is bat**** crazy and should be in a psych ward.

Go figure. The fuddle doesn't fall far from the duddle.
