Mark Crowther's The Week in Chess website has put up a page covering the Pro Chess League with PGN files using the player's real names. The Toronto Dragons are playing in the Atlantic division.

Re: Round 1: Charbonneau 3 - Toronto 1
Re. watching games live, League director Greg Shahade has just pointed out that on chess.com's Live Chess if you type
/follow attack2mateU
into the Game Chat, it will automatically take you to each of Razvan Preotu's game as they start. You can follow as many players as you like, and you will see a tab for each game below the board on the left of your screen. Just click on each tab to go to that game.
likemachine = Bator Sambuev
Revnov = Nikolay Noritsyn
NNepenthes = Thomas Roussel-Roozmon

The 16 Montreal PGN games (with correct names) are posted on the French "Chesstalk".

Greg Shahade has posted a PGN file with all of the week one games. It uses the player's nicknames though.

Re: Bator Sambuev and Nikolay Noritsyn to play for Toronto Dragons in Pro Chess Leagu
I've posted detailed results with links to each of Toronto's games to a thread in the Toronto Dragons Fan Club on chess.com:
https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/vi...s-to-each-game
To get to the PGN of a game, click on the Download symbol just to the right of the board:
To see a list of a player's recent games, click on the little chessboard just beneath that player's profile text:
Links to each player's profile can be found on the Pro Chess League Teams page:
https://www.chess.com/article/view/2...s-league-teams
All of the games in the League are unrated. I think they have done this, so that everyone can see each player's FIDE Standard rating when they play.Last edited by Glenn Giffen; Thursday, 12th January, 2017, 01:51 PM.

Re: Bator Sambuev and Nikolay Noritsyn to play for Toronto Dragons in Pro Chess Leagu
Questions:
1) I have found very brief results of the round 1 matches - just a 1-0 or 0-1 (match points) and total game points - at https://www.chess.com/article/view/2...ague-standings . How do I find detailed results by board? Will that be under "Weekly reports - coming soon"?
2) How do I replay the games and/or get PGN files? I tried to access Lesiege by clicking on his name (in the "Teams" section of the "PRO Chess League Guide". He shows up with a nickname of "caefellion". I go to "Stats" and "Rapid", and can't display any games. It says there are 4 games, but no rating, and I can't get the 4 games (which I assume are the 4 he played in the round 1 match). Same with Sambuev ("likemachine"). Likewise with Aman Hambleton ("KNVB" - assuming he played) - no "rapid" games appear from Jan. 11.

Post #8 is a few posts above this one. If you are viewing Chesstalk in Linear Mode, you just have to scroll upwards a bit to see it.Originally posted by J. Ken MacDonald View PostSorry to be so dense, but I can't see how to get to post 8. Is a membership required and, thus, a login?
To view the games on chess.com, I believe you need to sign up for a free account by giving them a unique username, your email address, and a password that you should write down somewhere. Once you are a member of chess.com, you can watch the commentary by Dejan Bojkov and Irina Krush on Chess.com TV. Or if you want to follow the individual games, click on Play, and then Live Chess. On Wednesday evenings, if you click on the little binoculars on the right side of Live Chess, you will see a list of games with a time control of 15'+2" and the Dragons playing. I've posted a thread to the forum of the Toronto Dragons Fan Club on chess.com on how to watch the games live.
Next Wednesday January 18th sees the two Canadian juggernauts facing off: the Toronto Dragons versus the Montreal Chessbrahs. Alexandre Lesiege, Aman Hambleton and Lefong Hua were playing for the Chessbrahs last night. Come check it out.

The U.S. Chess League used to have the players gather in bricks and mortar clubs, and the Pro Chess League may do that for some players or teams this season as well.

Thanks.

Re: Bator Sambuev and Nikolay Noritsyn to play for Toronto Dragons in Pro Chess Leagu
Bator Sambuev used to live in Toronto, so the League voted to accept him as a 'local' player.
The pundits are starting to predict Wednesday's results. IM Robert Ris is predicting that the Toronto Dragons will beat the Montclair Sopranos 10-6 with GM Thomas Roussel-Roozmon scoring 3.5/4!
https://www.chess.com/blog/RobertRis...k-1-prediction
Similarly, U.S. NM Pete Karagianis is also predicting a Toronto win 9.5-6.5.
https://www.chess.com/blog/nmpdk/what-s-in-a-name
The excitement is mounting!
