Re: Bator Sambuev and Nikolay Noritsyn to play for Toronto Dragons in Pro Chess Leagu

Toronto checkmated their way to a 14-2 win over the Columbus Cardinals.

We are now tied for third in our division for game points behind the Philadelphia Inventors (Sergei Erenburg) and Patagonia Penguins (Fernando Peralta).

A lot of upsets tonight. In our division, the Miami Champions, Montreal Chessbrahs, New York Knights and New Jersey Knockouts all lost. We play against New Jersey next week.

In match points, the underdogs Philadelphia Inventors and Montclair Sopranos(Pascal Charbonneau) continue to lead the Atlantic Division with three wins a piece.

No Razvan this week, but a lot of nice mating attacks by all four of our players: Bator Sambuev, Nikolay Noritsyn, Bindi Cheng and Kaiqi Yang.

I've posted a recap of our match vs. the Montreal Chessbrahs with four annotated games. Two Razvan Preotu wins, one Bator Sambuev win, and GM Gergely Szabo himself annotates his win over IM Aman Hambleton.

I've posted a recap of the Toronto Dragons' win over the strong New Jersey Knockouts, along with annotations of four of our wins. IM Nikolay Noritsyn and GM Gergely Szabo were kind enough to provide notes on their games.

                  Hi Glenn:

                  Your project definitely has WINGS!

Might I suggest you now start a new thread?: Toronto Dragons! (This thread title would be a bit more definitive?)

Yeah, our team is definitely doing very well indeed these days. It's exciting to watch.

Good idea about the thread, Bob. I'll start a new one next time I post.
