  • Shredder site-three daily problems

I have switched from newspaper problems to on-line problems. The three
shredder problems change daily at 6pm Toronto time. I like them, but they
are easy most of the time. For a real challenge I go to Susan Polgar's
blog site. She usually puts up two very challenging problems each day.

Wilf: You can get the Shredder quizzes (they're not really "problems", are they?), and "so much more" at the BCCF website.

Don't miss Stephen Wright's outstanding BCCF Bulletin !

The quizzes at crestbook.com are usually not overly difficult, but stimulating. The site itself is in Russian, but if you're just going for the quiz anyway ....

Hi Jonathan: I am glad at least one Canadian site has these "quizzes".
I actually prefer positions from real games. Regardless, these Shredder quizzes are very convenient and they keep my chess alive.

Lots of sites have the Shredder quizzes, including the Windsor Chess website http://home.cogeco.ca/~windsorchess/

Shredder makes it very easy to get the feed.
