I was following this game on the sesse supercomputer site. Carlsen seemed excessively cautious but later said he had confidence because he knew that this endgame was winning for White since he was a schoolboy!

- By defeating Maxim Matlakov in round 10 of #IOMchess, Magnus Carlsen extends his unbeaten streak to 100 games!
- "Anything you can do..." @MagnusCarlsen brings in the full point minutes after @FabianoCaruana had done the same. But, boy, did he make heavy weather of it... and he has half a point less than his big rival
John Saunders - My nomination for game of the round is Dahl-Kolbus in which the lowest rated player in the event, playing on next to bottom board (2nd from left in photo), played a superb combination to win his game. Well played, Baard Dahl!

Anton capped off a fabulous tournament (playing all the who's who) with a marvellous positional masterpiece in the last rounds. Look at the efforts made to keep the passed C pawn and his opponent trading everything to try and get all the pawns off. But no - the shocking and exhilarating Ne6!! Bravo!!
