I think there is a term for this suicidal behavior, it is called the "herd instinct". We run with the herd, feeling safety in numbers. The difference between animals running towards an abrupt cliff and humans moving towards a societal disaster is that we do in fact see the disaster coming. And still we run towards it.

It is my belief that the kind of loving you talk about Brad is the thing we all want but cannot have here on Earth. While our souls crave that kind of world and those kind of relationships, the body has its own cravings, and this is by design. This world was never intended to become a nirvana, or even close. It must always be full of misery, of want and starvation, of the few rich and the many poor, of disease and pestilence. To think that we can change that while residing in our human bodies is to miss the point. Even the fact that we as a species are constantly creating new generations while our elders die off is again by design, so that lessons learned will never sweep over the entire species. The newest members will always pursue their own paths of greed, continuing the run towards the cliff.

Florida is the first state to set up free early treatment centers to administer Monoclonal Antibodies. The centers were set up Statewide throughout the month of August. By the end of September Florida experienced a rapid reduction in hospitalizations. As of today, Florida has the second-lowest deaths per 100,000 in the continental United States at .07 per 100,000 with a 63% vaccination rate.
New York has a 72% vaccination rate and .39 deaths per 100,000 or over 5 times the deaths per 100,000 that Florida has.

Dr. Ladapo in addition to Monoclonal antibodies is aggressively pursuing treatments pre-hospitalization including nebulized Budesonide and Fluvoxamine. Both these have excellent efficacy.
He also is pursuing Nutraceuticals including the combo zinc, vitamin d vitamin C and Quercetin as important ways to boost the immune system and have shown good efficacy both for prophylaxis and early treatment.

Vaccines are widely available in Florida but they are not mandated and they focus on the elderly groups. That being said as I posted in the previous link new data shows serious issues with new Pfizer data.

The debate is simple. Are you more afraid of the disease or the vaccine? There is no right or wrong, we pay our money and we take our chances. We are all entitled to our decision, one way or the other, without recrimination. Vaccinations did not exist that could combat the pandemic of 100 years ago. This pandemic is not close to over, and the Omega variant remains a possibility. Too soon to compare meaningfully.
