Pragg is the youngest candidate (18) behind Fischer (16) and of course Magnus (15), what an amazing player he is already. He has eliminated Caruana and Nakamura, an impressive feat.

The big stories of the 2023 world cup have been Abasov, Pragga, and Salimova. All of them have performed phenomenally.

Chaotic endgames in the playoffs between Pragga and Caruana. Pragga finally broke thru and won in the third game.

In the playoffs Pragga - Erigiaisi Black won four in a row before Pragga won the final game with White on demand. Quite the entertainment. Erigaisi is going to have knightmares about some of those games.

Salimova won the first game of the playoffs against Muzychuk as black with a checkmating attack.

Salimova in the women's and Abasov, the local hero, are the big stories of the 2023 World Cup.

In one round 4 Indian players got knocked down to one. Thats how fast things change at the world cup.
After tomorrow we will be left with one local star Abasov, one Indian player, Magnus and Caruana. Thats it.

lol ... we're specifically supposed to AVOID getting caught on camera! ... if it's easy to send me that reference, please email it to me, as it'll help me learn another camera angle to avoid! thanks!
