Rd 8 Challengers Oro totally mishandled the rook and pawn endgame and as a result lost.

Rd 8 Challengers Yakubboev's total domination of the white squares resulted in a clear win.

Rd 8 Deshmukh vs Nogerbek - strange game. Nogerbek played brilliantly sacrificing a queen for two passed pawns and a rook. However then he slipped somewhere giving up both pawns when White sacrificed her queen. However in the resulting endgame White's sense of danger deserted her and she collapsed.

Rd 8 Pragga vs Gukesh I thought the endgame was better for Gukesh but apparenly not. So draw.

Rd 8 Caruana cracked Keymer in the late middlegame, then finished him off with beautiful passed pawn play at the end.

Bok was in control most of the game and took the opportunity to trade queens and win an easy endgame.

Rd 9 Challengers Oro vs Gurel I dont know what to make of this game. White played passively throughout , down a pawn from the opening, and yet almost achieved a draw, except for inaccuracies in the rook and pawn endgame.

Giri vs Pragga Giri had a nice position throughout. When Pragga tried tricks they backfired.
