Rd 11. Abdusattarov couldn't win that endgame, so draw. Its a three man race with Gukesh half a point ahead of Abdusattarov and Pragga. Two rounds left to play.

Rd 12 Pragga first decisive game. He went after the king, sacked a knight on a6, other knight to f5 and d6, sacked the queen on b7 and voila checkmate! He's in the drivers seat with one round left for him! Lets see if Gukesh can keep up!

Rd 12 Gukesh uncharacteristically missed a simplifying endgame to win and is now trying to bail out with a draw. Oh the drama!

Rd 12 Oro came up with a surprising win against Lu. 39. Rxg6 pinning, trapping and snaring was an amazing move. Its his best game of the tournament.

Rd 12 Everything worked for Yakubboev after Pijpers went offside with his pieces. Smothered checkmate at the end was icing on the cake.

Rd 12 L'Ami's king walked to the other side and then into the center but if he wins this he's a chess Houdini. Likely draw.
