Bob, I'd suggest changing your date format to yyyy/mm/dd rather than sticking to a 2 digit year. 25/5/27 will be ambiguous is a very short two years or so... :)

              vs

              Chess for Connection (Junior Organization)
              (25/6/18)

On 25/5/27, GWWS(80+) issued a team chess challenge to CfC!

              The junior organization accepted immediately!

When: Mid-August, 2025 (targeting Sat., Aug. 9 currently)

              Where: Markham, Ontario.

              Partners: Chess4Win

              What: 10-board, 2 game, CFC-rated Match

              Match Terms:
              • 10 boards.
              • 2 games, one with each colour.
              • Opponent: In the 2nd game, teams will be shuffled a bit so each player plays a different opponent.
              • Time control: 70 min. + 15 sec. increment (to make it less physically onerous and allow it to be a 1-day event, while being CFC acceptable as "regular-rated" games).
              Atmosphere

              - The match will have a good “social” feel, but it will be rated.

              - Between the 2 games will be a "social hour”, with snacks, for the players to get to know each other.

Sponsors : will be welcomed by the organizers!
