  • Help Wanted With FRITZ 18 Software

I don'y use FRITZ 18 other than the occasional position setup to solve a problem.
I just purchased HHdbVII which is a DataBase of well over 100,000 studies.
I have downloaded this DB but have no idea how to get FRITZ to show it to me.
Somewhere I can copy this DB into FRITZ (I think!) and then have access to the studies. How to get FRITZ to show it to me, I have no idea.
Can anyone help me with that?
    Thanks,
    Ken

The endgame database is the same as a game database, with each problem a pgn file. The database file should end in "cbh" or "cbv". If you were sent a zip file, it needs to be unzipped.

Save the problem database in the same folder where you save your game databases.

    Open your chess program.

    Click on something like
    File --- Database
    and again
    File --- Database
