Song-Noritsyn was interesting. Not sure if it was resignation but it seems White can still keep fighting with Qh5 at the end...

Actually I spoke to Steve after the game. This line has served him well against Master opposition for many years. Sometimes it takes a G to set you straight.

A Russian GM is like no other GM. You have to come with your best theory and make no mistakes in the opening.

Anyhow, here's an interesting game played in CC. Morgado still has a FIDE rating over 2200 and is probably in his 60's. It has a bit of a game Reggio Emila 1979 event and Bled 1993. Maybe it will give some of the Chess Talk theory hounds some enterainment this afternoon. In the Demmery game, I thought 9. Nf5 might have been a bit optomistic. Also, I like 7. a3 better.
