      Hi Hal:

Is there a new updated pre-registration list ( I thought I saw some posts somewhere about further entries, such as IM Eric Hansen )? Thanks.

                Hi Caesar:

A bit time-consuming, and I can't get to it right away. But I have a press release going out on this on Tues. AM, and I'll have it updated by then and post it. If I get to it sooner, I'll post it sooner.

Will all games in the Closed be broadcasted (via Monroi device & website)?

I hope we can broadcast all of them. Most will be for sure.

A large majority of the provinces in Canada are not represented at this event. I do not think this is a good thing.

Personally, If I were to organize this tournament (which I would not do unless I could do it well!), I would give free entry and accommodation to the top rated player in each province (they must have a minimum CFC rating of 2200). I understand that money has to come from somewhere (and this is not intended as a criticism of the organizers) but it is important that we work to make our National Championships...truly NATIONAL!
