i wonder how it is decided which games will be broadcast.

i see on monday evening, a 12xx player and a 15xx player duking it out on monroi for us to follow, but the game of a certain 21xx player i was hoping to see is not broadcast.

    It's something like this:

Monroi starts at the top with the PCMs they supply; however, using a Monroi PCM is optional, some players don't like them. In addition, some players bring their own PCM, and Monroi brodcasts those games also.

    Something like that.

Would someone kindly let me know how I can watch the games.
When I log in with my password and click on "games" nothing appears.

I guess I should download a software but which one?
I cannot find anything on the MonRoi website.

      Thank you.

should ask to login. Just click - Login.
A new welcoming screen - OK.

Live games allows to choose still active games.
Replay games - finished ones, including previous rounds.

I think nothing special should be installed.

            Thanks to both of you.

Egidijus: does not work. I just get a grey screen without anything on it

I sent an email yesterday to MonRoi...still waiting for an answer.

That's funny because in the past I never had that problem

            Anyway, thanks again.

If you have IE8, you may try Tools/"Compatibility View", and refresh a page.

The broadcast with Monroi rarely works... I tried to watch some games and most of them had (many) illegal moves in the 5 first moves. One interesting game was 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bb5+ Qd7! 4. Bc6!! 0-0-0!!! (Yes, the king and the bishop were on the same square). Also the ''results'' page doesn't work.

                  Well I finally got it!:D

The "compatibility view" on my computer is not in the "tools" menu but in the address section on top, just before the "refresh" button.

Thanks again to Egidijus and David for your time and help.
                  Greatly appreciated!!

How did you find this link? It's not visible on the monroi site. Indeed if you go to http://monroi.com/2011-canadian-open...ship-home.html you read about the Canadian Closed instead.
