Just amazing how these non-essential services, such as screenprint shops, keep on going with one person doing most everything in these challenging times!

And um, May the 4th be with you!

        • As the matter currently stands, I have seen 183/250 movies on the IMDB top 250. Stay mad, haters.

That's a pretty good idea! We've started binging Modern Family, I almost choke laughing at that show!

(after binging a bunch of other series already!)

On Netflix I've enjoyed The Good Life and Sex Education. Sci-Fi series are dreary but I just finished the Travellers, filmed in B. C.

For mindless fun, try The Good Place. What pleasantly surprised us is After Life, featuring some surprising deep acting from Ricky Gervais.

Yes, I highly recommend After Life. I am waiting for season 3 of The Good Place.

It's funny when we translate "same taste" into "good taste" lol, but I'll take it Bob!

To be honest, The Good Place was wearing thin for me as the last season ended.
But I'm deeply mesmerized by After Life, they hit so many dark nails on the head.

                              • I have previously posted some articles from Medium, and here's the next one in that series:
                                https://medium.com/@tomaspueyo/coron...g-e84ed405e37d

However, I didn't find it as engrossing as previous ones in the series, as it makes a LOT of assumptions/estimations/guesses?!

What also strikes me is that it's jumping ahead to a phase that only a handful of Eastern Asian nations are even remotely ready for.
I'm a little perplexed that some are equating/rationalizing, for example, the opening of say, Nevada, with the opening of say, Taiwan.

If you don't have the time or inclination to read the whole article, at least check out the reference to a twitter feed from South Korea:
                                https://twitter.com/michaelvkim/stat...87354934538248
It's a fascinating layman insight into why THAT country is more prepared for re-opening ...
... and then some of the trolling comments are insights into why the commentator's country isn't ready lol

I read somewhere else today that recent analysis (data mostly from Western world) seems to indicate that re-opening attitudes 100 years ago were signifcantly more conservative than now.

And 100 years ago, the second waves were almost all worse than the first wave ... hang in there folks!!

P.S. it seems some of the worst activities for pandemic spread are large groups over multiple days (not great news for OTB chess)
