Yes I have to admit this makes sense and is true and is definately not insane at all. Dems tell people theres a pandemic, so they don't vote, and as we all know only Trump supporters believe Dems (Biden voters have been tipped off the lie by secret coded messages Soros and Gates sent through the radiowaves and know to ignore the media) so this lowers Trumps vote count. Very logical. Very ingenius in fact. Definately not cuckoo.

        • I was wrong. I thought The Donald was going to get crushed. Now it looks like he is setting up to challenge a lot of these outcomes in court!

The Senate decides who wins the White House if there's an electoral college tie ;)

          • Actually, if the Electoral College does not produce a winner, the House of Representatives (not the Senate) selects the President in a Contingent Election; each state delegation gets one vote, and it is the incoming House which makes the selection.

Each state gets one vote. Trump probably wins in this scenario.

Don't the Dems control the House and incoming results do not change that balance. In that case, I doubt the House would appoint Trump in the situation mentioned.
In any case, this seems to now be a moot point.

I certainly don't agree with Vlad about much of anything (lol) but I would suggest that he has done a very good job guiding the CFC through some rough times
and no one can say he is a part time president (there have been a few...) He does devote a tremendous amount of time and energy to the CFC (note: it is NOT a remunerated position).
The only paid position in the CFC is the Executive Director (Bob Gillanders) and I also know that he effectively gets about a dollar an hour... (sorry, Bob; don't do the math!)

Your last memory of organized chess is losing to someone three or four hundred points below you on the rating scale and then withdrawing from the last round of your event and never playing again. Those types of losses happen to everyone at some point. I recall one of my games in Michigan in early 2009, where I was playing in the last round of a tournament where I was vying for last place with my opponent. I was suffering from a cold, low blood sugar and some digestive issues from the fast food I had eaten. At a certain point my opponent made a combination which appeared to restore the balance in the position. My next move hung every one of my remaining pieces but left him without the ability to take any of them without being immediately mated or in the best case going into a trivially lost endgame. People walked by and looked at the position, did a double take and started shaking their heads. I knew in that moment that I would never stop playing chess as long as I was physically able.

I am neither a conspiracy theorist nor a fascist but it is great of you to share the logic of your momentous decision in 2017. It allows us an insight into your intellect and thought process. I thank you for that.

You should be careful with conclusions:

His last CFC tournament Edmonton Irregulars https://www.chess.ca/en/ratings/#/t/201711021/124063
There was only one game played in round 2 (the last round).

They control the house but this is not a normal vote where each rep gets a vote. The very red map of the middle states means that Trump would have more votes going in particularly now as they have even won some seats. So all the California and New York reps amount to one vote for California and one vote for New York. I don't think DC gets a vote. Anyway, hopefully it doesn't come down to that.

There was a person from the Conservatives, another from the Liberals, another from the NDP watching the vote counting. You needed ID to vote or you had to have someone with ID to vouch for you.
So my sources tell me that such reports are just part of a fog machine to facilitate a disinformation campaign. For example, there are indeed scrutineers from both parties everywhere. Let me put it to you this way: do you honestly believe that if the blocked-scrutineers claim were true, that we wouldn't already have legitimate lawsuits, vs. those that are being dismissed, even by Republicans?!

Anyway, this what-about-ism doesn't address what Jeffrey asked about 45 claiming victory ...

Vlad doesn't have time for questions. He's working too hard pedalling his misinformation machine.

They are not everywhere. Various democratic states did not allow them in certain areas even in the case where there was a court injunction to the contrary.

At this moment, if nothing changes, it appears that Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won. May God have mercy on our souls.

On the other side, the Republicans held the Senate and the Democrats are significantly weaker in the House. There is even some thought that they may have come close to losing the house though currently they show only a five seat gain for Republicans. The allegedly centrist Democrats were duly punished for voting with the radicals. Some that didn't lose were chastened and almost lost their spot at the feeding trough. The seven socialists are not popular with the rest of the Democrats as they are responsible for what they see as a defeat of their agenda. There will be no court packing unless some wishy washy republicans go along with it. Washington DC will not become a state and neither will Puerto Rico. I doubt that there will be much done on climate change, ending fossil fuels or the Green New Deal.

I expect more terrorism. Maybe the U.S. government will not go back to being anti-Israel as Biden or Kamala adapt to a more difficult political situation.

Trump will be out there tweeting and if Biden drops the ball and maybe Covid and terrorism gets worse because of his policies, Trump can run again in 2024.

The situation is bad but not yet that bad.
