https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1099110 Picturesque final position. Spassky's final move was Qg5. What would his follow up plan be?

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1099117 Notice Spassky's d4 pawn break and his subsequent plan heading for the endgame. I don't understand his 40.Rf8+. Exchanging rooks wins the d5 pawn under much more favourable circumstances. I believe he was winning.

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1099129 I've wondered about the early draw offers. Did they mean I've lost interest in the position? or I'm offering from a position of strength or as in this case here's your chance for a draw, if you play on I will beat you? Probably all of the above in various games. Spassky always seemed comfortable with his opening choice and rarely did he agree to draws in inferior positions, preferring to battle on.

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=2201740 Interesting how Spassky neutralises White's extra pawn and makes squares for himself only to blunder at the end.
