In a finale of mistakes IM Han kept up the pressure and checkmated Yang and IM Chiku-Ratte gave a relatively smooth performance in his win.

I will pick six decisive games on the top 6 boards in rd 7, just because it feels good to do that and I have never done that before.

Its nice to see all the GM's on the top 10 boards. No major upsets of GM's yet and we have passed the halfway point.

Eric Cloutier had three wins in a row! Super congratulations! But then he's lost the last two in a row, however all his losses are to higher rated players. He is playing well and at 50%. We will continue to watch his results with interest.

Richard Douglas is having a great tournament. Is there anyone else lower rated that is doing so?
