    • Hey! I resent that. Chesstalk is a semi-honorable place.

Sure was. Everyone who watched all or most of that now has a permanent sleep disorder.

I bailed after the first 10 minutes but went back later to catch about the last half hour.
What a dumpster fire the U.S. is right now.

Trump interrupted Biden or Chris Wallace at least 128 times in 90 minutes: https://www.businessinsider.com/trum...sations-2020-9

Biden currently has the largest polling lead at this point of any candidate since Bill Clinton in 1996, and he's 3 points ahead of where Hillary was: https://twitter.com/baseballot/statu...812235777?s=20

Even Rasmussen, which has been by far the most favourable to Trump, now has Biden up by 8 points: https://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...se_watch_sep30

All the people who obsess over every time Biden misspeaks thought that this debate would be a disaster for him, but it really couldn't have gone much worse for Trump. He needed a big win to catch up, but all he did was make himself look even worse.

                    • Well with all the democrats now being caught with vote harvesting schemes and stealing ballots, I think the Dems are in trouble. Minnesota with Ilhan Omar and two different Texas communities with hundreds of felony charges coming. Not a good look.

                      • Project Veritas is a joke, and everything they do is a lie.

Here's a Project Veritas video edited to make it look like a Washington Post reporter is running away from James O'Keefe and dodging his questions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWptWsSzSh4
Here's what the unedited footage looks like, where it becomes clear that Project Veritas told him to make an appointment to interview O'Keefe, and when the reporter arrive, O'Keefe tried to hijack the interview: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...a3e_story.html

This whole thing came after Project Veritas tried to plant a fake story in the Washington Post, but all that ended up happening was they showed how diligent WP's reporters actually are because they quickly found out it was a lie.

Then there was the ACORN video, which the California attorney general concluded had been "severely edited." James O'Keefe falsely portrayed an employee as engaging in human trafficking, and ultimately settled to pay the employee $100,000.

Then there was the time he planned to secretly film and seduce CNN correspondent Abbie Boudreau, and after publicly denying this, paid a Project Veritas executive a five-figure settlement so that she wouldn't reveal the details of his plan.

The list goes on. Even Fox News describes them as "a controversial group that has produced a number of misleading videos." I would be amazed if any legal action comes from anything they report on, unless it's aimed at Project Veritas itself.

Kerry, you just need to do some debate prep first. It is commonly believed that debate prep is only for the participants, but now with the toxic levels with Trump, the audience should be doing debate prep as well as a health and safety measure.

                              The 4 key steps are:

                              1. Remove all breakables and sharp objects from the viewing room.
                              2. An adequate supply of alcohol for the duration of the debate and at least 2 hours afterwards.
                              3. Belts and shoelaces should be removed and hidden.
                              4. Prior viewing of humorous sketch comedy, at least 20 -30 minutes depending on the material. I would recommend the Monty Python fish slapping skit.

                              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLdK...nnel=brails101

This should be sufficient to safeguard your sanity during the debates. Although, insurance on your TV and a mental health professional on you speed dial are additional recommended precautions. Looking forward to some more classic lines from Joe like "would you shut up, man." that was pure gold.

"Defendants were Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap and Attorney General Aaron Frey."

"Plaintiffs including the Alliance for Retired Americans said a rapid shift to absentee voting during the pandemic represented a significant change for Maine and that voters could be disenfranchised unless several absentee ballot and voter registration procedures were changed."

So the case was brought AGAINST two Democrats, and the only plaintiff I can find mentioned is a nonpartisan group for retired Americans. You're seriously going to call this "voter fraud initiatives by Democrats"?
